this dlc shit with activision is garbage. first, fantastic game. sp is amazing, story is awesome, gameplay too. mp is un as well. that said, the dlc raping with acticrap is nonsense. they have three dlc multiplayer packs at ten dollars a piece!!! so for half the price i paid for the game i can get some extra character models. first off, i just paid 65 bones for your game, give me a break. second, 10 a piece for 5 characters models each pack, thats garbage

it was okay, id have given it a 7.5. def some things that need to be worked on. i didnt finish it becuase i got bored around 20hrs in, that said, id buy the sequel in hopes that its much improved. the ground work has been laid, no reason the sequel wouldnt be awesome. sometimes it jsut takes two tries for games as ambitious as this one was

never thought id see the day someone else thought like me lol. solid is still one of my fav games of all time, tied in first with a few others. i beat the second one but found the story out of control and too unrealistic, solid had a much more believable story. then three had amazing everything but the controls were such a pain in the ass i couldnt ever finish it, got halfway through twice. then 4 hit and for some reason it could never keep my interest ( i do plan to try again someday though ...

absolutely not imo. is it a great game? well sort of. the story is absolutely phenomenal and imo much better than the show even. however as a game it falls very flat. the game could work just as well flowing from one cut scene to another with you able to simply make choices, in fact it would be arguably more enjoyable that way. it has virtually no game play, walking from point a to point b, clicking an item and walking back is hardly gameplay imo oh and the occasional shoot out.

agreed. finished it this weekend, i think the narrative was weaker this time around and the ending was a dissapointment but other than that the gameplay sets the bar for action adventure imo, combat has so much variety, rpg elements worked incredibly well, and aside from earth the environments were top notch. for those who dont want to read......

i like them all personaly, esp rpg elements. quicktime events however are only good when done right. they can easily add to the fun ( god of war ) or take away from the fun ( transformers foc )
well said and i agree. they are doing the prequel becuase they likely dont know where to go with the sequel. i dont mind prequels but when you have as many as the gow franchise it is a bit ridiculous. i think the real problem is that kratos and his story just arent that interesting anymore, for the first and second and one prequel it was perfect but after that, its just meh.

that said, i can respect your opinion but if you want anyone to take it seriously or think there is any sort of validity to your argument you should back it up with a few reasons why from your personal experience playing it. just stating its mediocre makes you sound childish
yeah i put 90hrs into that game. it had its issues i will not deny that lol but once you got the combat system down it was a riot. co-op was a blast too.
some issues....
-level design was very bland almost uninspired
-sp story got cut way short just as it was starting to get engaging
-needed more loot
-could have used some more variety in the gameplay
but what was there was a solid foundation. with proper time to refine...
